Electrification and Energy Rating for Housing Developers
Residential energy code will soon have higher efficiency standards and interest in home electrification is on the rise. Rochester area housing developers, builders, and architects are invited to join the City of Rochester, Center for Energy and Environment, and Electrify Everything MN over lunch to learn about energy rating, opportunities to incorporate electrification and energy efficiency into new home construction, and the certifications and incentives available.
- Get an overview of energy ratings and certifications that can help you build sustainable homes.
- Learn about the technologies available to build homes with efficient, electric HVAC and appliances.
- Learn about anticipated updates to the residential energy code and how electrification and efficiency can help compliance.
- Learn about incentives and tax credits available to support project bottom lines.
