Citizens Climate Lobby Rochester, MN Chapter Meeting
Local residents are encouraged to join us on a bipartisan discussion of what can be done to migrate Rochester towards clean energy solutions. We’ll cover the new Minnesota Energy Infrastructure Permitting Act (SF4784). It has a huge effect on the pace of the clean energy adoption and electrical grid changes needed for 1) the EV transition and 2) ramp-up of solar, wind, and geothermal. We can also discuss what we learned at the recent RPU utilities meeting. We’ll discuss two alliances: the MN NextGen Highway Coalition and Clean Energy Economy MN – both of which are very active on State legislation within committees.
We’ll meet on the library’s second floor in the conference room.
